Women's Rights Movement Pre and Post Civil War
How was the women's rights movement before and after the Civil War different in the North and the South of America?
The women's rights movement was simialr in the north of America and the south. The movements started at different times but for similar reasons, and they shared basically the same goals. The fact that the north and south were going through differences at the time concerning issues like slavery had the potential to be a reason that the women's rights movement would be different in the north and south, but the only part it really affected was when they started.
