In conclusion, the women's rights movement of the north and south of America were similar in many ways. Although they started at different times, they shared many common goals. In both places, the advocates were fighting for equality, the right to vote, more oppertunities for higher education, and better treatment of women in all aspects. The way the movement started was also similar in both places, as well as the reason for starting. So while these advocates were seperated by thousands of miles, their fight for women's rights were startalingly similar and have had lasting effects on our society.
